PERIMETER DETECTION

Perimeter security

We protect the perimeters and restricted areas of industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, corporate complexes and logistics operations.

Perimeter security.

We protect the perimeters and restricted areas of industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, corporate complexes and logistics operations.

At substations, solar parks and wind farms we combine perimeter detection, cameras at critical points and fiber optic or radio links back to the control center.

Perimeter security and intrusion detection

Protection of perimeters and restricted areas through detection technologies, specialized cameras, alarms and video analytics, according to the conditions of each project.

Access control and integration

Controllers, readers, credentials, locks and vehicle barriers, with events correlated with video according to the needs of each facility.

Communications infrastructure for security

Fiber optics, radio links, structured cabling, switching, PoE, VLAN, UPS and cabinets to interconnect security devices and platforms.

The scope, deliverables and terms of each project are detailed in the technical and financial proposal before work begins. Illustrative image. It does not represent a project or installation carried out by TESERCOM.

Frequently asked questions about the service.

What is the difference between CCTV and perimeter security?

CCTV lets you view and record activity. Perimeter security aims to detect a possible intrusion at the boundaries of a facility using sensors, barriers or video analytics. They can work together: a detection alert can be linked to images so staff can assess the event.

How are false alarms reduced outdoors?

Technology and placement are selected to suit the terrain, lighting, vegetation, animals and environmental conditions. Adjusting detection zones, sensitivity and filters, verifying events with video and maintaining the system help reduce false alarms. No system eliminates all false alarms; on-site testing is part of commissioning.

Can existing cameras and cabling be reused?

This depends on their condition and compatibility. The technical assessment reviews cameras, recorders, software, cabling, networking and power to determine what can be kept and what needs upgrading. It also defines the testing, documentation and maintenance included in the proposal, without assuming every existing device can be integrated.
